Wow, the past 2 weeks have been so crazy around here! Marina and I had planned a trip up to visit family for a week while Jason was away on a trip. We made it up the road about 2 hours when I got a call from Social Services saying they had a baby who needed a foster home. So, we turned around and went back home and picked up Elizabeth. She is 2 months old and a total sweetheart. We decided to postpone our trip and stayed home for a few days to get acclamated to our new situation. Us three girls then went up and stayed a few days, since I figured some help would be nice since Jason wouldn't be around. We had a great time, and everyone loved Elizabeth. Marina is still adjusting to being a big sister and she is doing a great job.

We came back home and then Jason had to start removing the carpet from our living room/dining room areas to get ready for hardwood floors that will be here tomorrow. So, our house is a mess....we have furniture stuffed into the bedrooms and we are still getting used to having an infant in the house. I think God has a sense of humor!
A few of the "goose"

In the midst of it all we are feeling so blessed to have both of these little girls in our lives. We're not sure at this point how long Elizabeth will be with us or if adoption will become an option, but we are enjoying our time together as it is right now.
