Happy New Year!

I guess it's about time I put up a new post. Time just gets away from me, especially around the holidays when we stay so busy. Things here are going well, we had a wonderful Christmas at home. Elizabeth got to spend the day with her family, which I had mixed feelings about, but it turned out to go really well and I can sincerely say that I'm glad they had the day with her. We left to visit family 2 days later and enjoyed seeing everyone. Marina was excited.....Christmas lasted a whole week! She's already asking when Christmas is again.

Our two little elves on Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

Marina got a kitty for Christmas, the only kind of kitty she can have while Pandora or Sassafras are around. She decided to name her Pumpkin.

While we were visiting the Powells, Marina got to ride Bucky, who contrary to his name, is very nice and tame.
Our newest excitement is that Elizabeth started wearing her special "hat" (as we like to call it) to hopefully round out her head. She got it on Thursday and will have to wear it 23 hours a day! This first week we are working her up to all day, and she is doing great. She is so laid back and just takes everything in stride. I am amazed, especially since she's had a terrrible cough and cold and is getting what seems like the rest of her teeth all at once! (the 4 on top and 2 more on the bottom are coming in now)

Marina and I got to dress up for Awana's clown night. Jason said he couldn't see a difference. (ha, ha)

Here's a little clip of Elizabeth in the johnny jump-up.....usually she is a little more wild with her jumping!
