Signs of Spring

The past few days of the week had really got me down. It's amazing how the weather can affect my mood! I am thankful for the rain - we really need it, but today is the kind of day that makes it so easy to get up in the morning. It is sunny and 75 degrees! I love it.

Marina and I had lunch and took a nice walk around Ferrum's campus. It was really nice. Even though we miss Elizabeth, it has been good to spend more time one on one with Marina, and I know she is enjoying the extra attention. The three of us went out to see "Horton Hears a Who" at the movies on Tuesday night and it was so fun. We were the only ones in the theatre and Marina kept asking, "when are the other people going to get here?". I had to remind her how nice and quiet it was to be the only ones there AND we could talk and laugh during the movie and no one would care.

Well, I am certainly ready for this warmer weather to stay around.....and it means that summer will be here before we know it!
